About the Role

AA Piri Piri Ltd t/a KS Piri Piri Pizza is seeking an experienced and skilled Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. This role has arisen due to business growth, menu expansion, and extended operating hours. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining the quality and consistency of our food offering while supporting kitchen operations and junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, store, and quality-check pizza dough and sauces to a consistently high standard
• Ensure all cooking stations are clean, sanitised, and correctly set up before each service
• Check the quality of all pizzas before they are served to customers
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency across all menu items
• Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment and report any faults promptly
• Order supplies, manage inventory, and assist with budget planning to maintain profitable food costs
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly kitchen reports and paperwork accurately
• Communicate effectively with management and head office on operational matters
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company standards at all times

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a reputable restaurant or fast food environment
• Prior supervisory or management experience is essential
• Formal food safety qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate)
• Additional experience in pasta, kebabs, or fast food preparation is desirable
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Urdu, Arabic, or any European language is an advantage
• Ability to work flexibly across a Monday to Sunday rota, including evenings and late nights
